Mylo's first dentist appt!

Mylo did a great job showing the dentist his teeth. We did get some bad news. He has cavities at 3 ;( No more donuts, ice cream, lollipops, or Popsicles. He will have an exam and treatment with a pediatric ortho in a couple weeks in Morgantown. I felt like the worst mother in the world. I thought his brushing habits were good. Every night before bed and we startsd brushing at 2! He has never had soda and juice was once a day and was watered down as a toddler. He doesn't eat alot of candy to my knowledge. So, I just hope he doesn't have a bad experience and is then traumatized by the dentist the rest of his childhood.

We have Achieved Underwater!!

Mylo and his Merman can open their eyes underwater. Yay!!! He is enjoying swimming lessons!

Elephant Bite

"Never means firetruck" I don't understand mylo's connection but when asked to pick up his toys or to pee in the potty, he rants," NEVER NEVER".
He also has a bug bite on his forehead. We were investigating the recent nip from a mosquito and Mylo informed us that it was an Elephant bite. I don't know, I'm just his mother.

Mylo is so amazing! I just hope I can be the parent he needs me to be to accomplish the great things in his path. I hope I answer the questions he asks that leads him to his own conclusions. He is so curious, nurturing, thoughtful and is intelligent socially. I want him to persevere when something doesn't come easy. I want him to appreciate others and be grateful. I know I can't be all of those things but God has put amazing people in his path to make up for my faults. And for that I am grateful! When he looks, I want him to see and feel he is loved! When he turns to explore, I want him to trust and be confident. I love you, Budder Bean!

Dear Budder Bean, You are my monster! We have enjoyed Nashville to the TN!! Mylo has been poolside and Greekside! He had a Viking balloon hat and sword at Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville! We called him Thor... Mylo, Caiden and Kyleigh enjoyed the zoo too! Mylo and Eric have napped and eaten well this week! I have enjoyed the Model Schools Conference @RigorRelevance #MSC2011. I am learning to synergize with my colleagues to make student learning rigorous and relevant! Next on our agenda, Line dancing at the Wild Horse! Note to self... Get cowboy boots!

Summer 2011

The Mylo Mister has started his Summer as a three year old in style! He has been swimming, tagged many sandboxes with his sandy tears, and is still trying to conquer the potty monster! He has been quite the traveler to Pittsburgh to the children's museum with Daddy and Sarah and is leaving for Nashville, TN for a week with Mommy and Eric! He spends two days a week at school with his friends and he wants swimming lessons. Mylo can't wait for Cars2 to come out in theaters!

Disney World: Mylo Style 2011!!!

Well, little man is 33 months old...which translates to almost 3..eek!!! Mylo was spoiled rotton by family and friends for Chrismtas and just got back from Disney World in Orlando, Florida where his godparents introduced him to the magic of Disney! When interview by his mother, Mylo replied that is favorite parts of Disney were the.....tram...the hippos in the fish tank...super jump( an strenuous, adult game invented by Nikki) and the big big ball (epcot). He enjoyed the airplane rides and was exceptionally well behaved. He played tow trucks and watched Thomas the Tank Engine. He watched mommy run her race (at 6:30am) and rode the monorail, tea cups, Winnie the Pooh, the Carosel,and the people mover. He visited Nikki's work at Epcot in the Living Seas and the Land...as well as Animal Kingdom where Donna works. He went a Safari ride and saw Hippos, rhinos, elephants and lions. He loved the electrical parade and fireworks at Cinderella's castle (mommy's favorite part too!). He had dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe and cried becasue of the rain storm in which he did not have a rain coat :( So, the mylo monster will return next year to continue his Disney experiment and for Mommy's FULL MARATHON!!!
